recent rides!

Double click pics to enlarge Havent posted in a while, major life change, went back to school to study forestry so I can get a mountain job. Only been up a few times so far this year, been busy with new job and school(taking four classes this quarter) been tough riding in super deep unbroken powder! Came up on the 7th with fifteen friends for Cody's bachelor party! we took out this new M1000 with 162" track, lightweight hood, and exhaust that made it sound like a Harley Davidson! GIANT tourque!

playing down in the lakebed, powder banks averaged about three feet!

The hotel was completely covered, only one small cave cut in for a entrance. Both of these pics are from behind and in front of the hotel.

Went up with Brian,Haneby and shields in December, highlights were getting drunk and terrorizing Cle Elum and Brian puking in his helmet at fourty miles per hour. This pic on the left shows the aftermath.

prototype test ride ski-doo xp !

rode on a sunday and the place was crowded. reminds me how much safer it is to ride on weekdays!
we had nice spring riding on april first, went to the top of hawnins and could see forever. The highest elevation i observed was 7000 feet on the south face of hawkins.

I-90 motorsports invited us to come ride this new machine and this mountain climbing thing is getting a little crazy!

The Stave creek play area was completely untraked! Five foot drifts and great visibility.

Season opener! Brents new sled!

KOOL AID SMILE FOR REAL,2007 SKI-DOO X-RS DOUBLE CLICK THE PICTURE....TO SEE FULL SIZE
At 2:15 in the morning on the way back from churchgroup wednsday night Sean swerved off the driveway at Brents to avoid a squirrel and got hopelessly stuck in the mud. This was a big shock because he had recently installed "20" mudders" on the expedition.Eric was unable to get him out. Brent refused to pull it out with the king ranch . A tow truck came but laughed at him and drove away. who says church cant be fun !!!
Brents new sled is a ski-doo 800 x-rs. It will stand on the track on demand . He offered to let me ride it but i was scared because i have not yet made peace with my maker . These pics show rich stuck, we were just above the clouds in the blue sky

The hollywood bowl was still a couple feet of snow short.Stumps were just under the powder. We rode all over the side of the mountain riding in and out of the clouds. One minute blue sky and sun 50 feet later visibility drops to under 20 feet!
