Good times!

February 1st was the day. The riders were me,Rich,Brent and Mike who brought three friends including a Austrailian living in London on vacation in Seattle in deep snow for the first time!
Thanks to some late day sun and untouched powder the conditions were great. The pics are from the Cle Elum Ridge.

Wednesday was great, we had a diverse group including a attorney,a business owner and as always a bunch of car guys!

The view from the ridge down into the sandstone creek area is amazing but by that time the battery's were dead in the camera. This is the second time I have seen wild turkeys around the 2500 foot mark, they were workin overtime in the deep snow.

Rich stepped up for a new blue Klim coat and the 800 dug trenches while Jeff"s vertical escape had a new pipe and ripped snow apart!

The snow on the ridge now is very deep and wet(heavy) so getting unstuck was a chore but everybody pulled together and with our new shovels it worked out fine.
